As I sat eating lunch 18 months ago, whilst shooting my first wedding on land since leaving the seas, I never thought that 2015 would be as successful as it has! There is still a long way to travel, plenty more strokes of paint on my canvas, and 2016 is already set to be busier that the year just past.
However like every artist I still see a lot of room for progression. These winter months will see me investing in new equipment, workshops and looking into progressing my name further outside of the cumbrian boundaries. This all said 2015 has been a true gem! I have explored various new venues, met some fantastic loving couples, and worked alongside some of the best local suppliers around.
As I sit here, sipping my cup of tea, Squitten across my shoulders, Tinks on my lap, I wander where 2016 will take me. I already know I get to head back to my roots, back to Staffordshire, and to the beautiful Sandon Hall. As well as further venturing over the Scottish borders to a range of fabulous castles. I want to learn from those that inspire me, and hopefully grow my reputation further. With every wedding I want to evolve the colours on my canvas, and build on a 2015 that has been a successful starting point on my upcoming years of business.
So with that I would love to say thank you to all that have made my year so special, and below is a large selection of images from my year of weddings.
Enjoy a happy and eventful 2016 everyone!
Lots of Love
