A little bit about Freya + Zach’s barn wedding in Somerset
After meeting for coffee and crafting on north street in Bristol, It was clear to see that these two were made for each other and that their wedding sounded like one full of pure energy! Fast forward to March 2025 and the the location is the Quantock Lakes. Freya gets ready with her squad in the farm house, whilst Zach don his bowtie and multiple socks in the stable rooms.
A flower arch from the wonderful Yalham Hayes showered beauty at the end of the aisle under it, a now slightly nervous, Zach stood. The music started and the bridal entourage paraded the aisle. At the end were Freya and her dad looking glorious! The Mother of the Bride read, followed by a huge heartfelt embrace. The rings exchanged to the cacophony of joy. Down the aisle walked the new Mr + Mrs Savva.
The A Cappella Queens before some toasts to tear the eyes.
Like tradition does, the ceremony was proceeded by the aisle walk with a platting of colourful petal goodness! As the guests dispersed to bar and toilet alike, Freya and her bandit of A Cappella queens assembled to practice for their forthcoming performance. It is always a nice touch when the real life of the couples interested are integrated within the day and this personal touch was a delight, However, what ensued was even more so. Heartfelt speech after heartfelt speech bought a tear and belly laugh to all that were present in the room! Myself included. As the dessert was bought out I took my opportunity to sneak the duo out for some portraits in the beautiful lakeside location that is Quantock Lakes.
Lets talk about the after party at Quantock Lakes.
When I say after party, I mean generally party – as my word it went off! The glitter and florals entered the dance floor, then after me a load of guests did too! shapes were thrown, shirt were off, tequila was slammed and even David the cat hit the dance floor in his many forms. It certainly was one of the best dance-floors I have encountered for a long time. It was a true joy to be a part of! What a great end to their wedding at Quantock Lakes!
