A little bit about Dani & Greg’s outdoor wedding in Pensford
They had legally tied the knot a couple of days before at Bristol Registry office. By doing so it opened the door for a celebrant led wedding ceremony by there close friend. Due to marriage laws it is the case that you need to marry in a licensed structure within the venue. With celebrant weddings this is not the case, meaning the whole of Folly Farm is available to wed in. Even the roof!
At their ceremony in the courtyard of Folly Farm it was important that the day was an occasion where all teir friends and family could just enjoy themselves in a relaxed way. This was certainly the case, with a whole host of activities and games out, as the sounds of the Bristol Harpist floated through the air, the day had well and truly begun!

This folly farm wedding was full of everything. From converse shoes with Mr + Mrs embroidered, to a bouncy castle that had guests (and myself) flipping to the stars! There was a 5 minute downpour in between hours of glorious sun over the fields surrounding Folly Farm! As tear flowed in the speeches, the night drew in. Jack + Tee hammered some funky beats on the dance floor, outside marshmallow’s were toasting and the ice creams in full flow. At which point I embraced Bruce Gilden and popped some direct flash! the band went home and the headphones came on.
A silent disco is the perfect end to all weddings at Folly Farm
I have been lucky enough to photograph over 300 weddings, however this is probably only the 5th time I have experienced a silent disco at one. As I strut around with my headphones on I always thing it is great fun! For those weddings that have noise restriction it is definitely a great idea, however for any wedding, whether in Folly farm or elsewhere it is great to. Silent discos have a habit of bringing everyone to the dance floor and not just loitering on the outskirts!
