IT IS ALL ABOUT THE documentary STYLE.
It is important that your wedding should be a day that you spend time together with loved ones and not in front of the lens - I doubt you'll even notice that I'm around! This unobtrusive film style is what I strive for.
I capture your day using a reportage (documentary) style, meaning I work around you & your day. It also allows you to relax whilst I do the hard work and capture moments you didn't even know had happened!
The concept of cinematic films means that a piece of art can be created. Using speeches as an overlay, and the key clips spread in a non linear way, means an entertaining high quality cinema experience can be achieved.
The use of artistic blurs can be seen throughout my work with high vibrant tones to match the high energy fun and jazz of your wedding day! These are not boring wedding films, these are art.
Full Cinematic Film
Cinematic films combine layered sound with artistic film visuals to create a beautiful wedding film showcasing the highlights from your day. The length varies dependant on package but include all the key clips from your day in a high energy film.
The strong visuals and use of movement and artistic blur will make your wedding video stand out from the boring mundane! It is not a wedding video as you may know it, but one that tells a story of your day in a truly artistic manor.
Mini Preview Film
The one minute snippet is a small version of the highlights to provide a preview for yourselves to view whilst the final film in being produced. It is the one that is often used for my marketing, and although Its "one minute" it often can be more.

Full film of wedding Ceremony + Speeches
Alongside the cinematic film, I can also produce a multi camera cut film of your ceremony and speeches. So you can enjoy these key moments in all the full uncut glory.
The last for as long as the events take place, and will be a mix of various cameras angles cut together to create an interesting film visual.
The Additional Bits
All wedding films are delivered via direct download from your private online portal. You are able to share or even stream to your TV. I am a Bristol based videographer but willing to travel anywhere.

THE Wedding Videography Prices
Wedding Videography packages range between £1000 - £3750 but discounts for winter or midweek weddings, or micro elopements are often available.
If you are not wanting the full day then I am happy to create a bespoke package and price for you and your budget.

Your questions answered
This is a fun and relaxed session where you can get used to being in front of the camera and my approach, I can do a pre-wedding shoot anywhere you like - I normally recommend a place that means something to you - otherwise the park, woodland or a beach usually work best for a nice intimate stroll. I prefer shooting outdoors in natural light but I am all ears to any suggestions, just anywhere where you're relaxed and can be you!
WHAT IS A PRE-WEDDING SHOOT AND WHAT HAPPENS?
Absolutely! I love to travel! Although I am a wedding photographer in Bristol, my work takes me all over the UK. All travel and accommodation is included. For destination weddings, this is included too, although location dependant a surcharge may be added. This is discussed prior on a wedding to wedding basis.
ARE YOU PREPARED TO TRAVEL NATIONWIDE/WORLDWIDE FOR A WEDDING?
Yes, of course! In fact I feel its really important to meet face to face, in person or via Zoom, to have a chat about your wedding photography in a little more detail. It also gives you a chance to ask me any questions, as well as finalising all the details to make your photographs perfect.
CAN WE MEET BEFORE THE WEDDING DAY?
Being a photographer myself I know how it works. I like to document the day, and try to be as unobtrusive as possible. I always try and link with the photographers well, I've worked with many and am happy to recommend some that i know work well with me.
How do you and the photographer work together?
I have a drone and will use it as part of your day where possible. In extreme weather or locations it might not be possible, so although it is often the case I cannot always guarantee there will be drone footage.
Do you use drones?
I take great care to edit each film clip with sensitivity keeping them looking as natural as possible whilst enhancing and applying my developed style. All films are edited using professional software to achieve the highest quality.
How do you edit the Films?
Editing films is a long process, I normally have the preview to you within two weeks. The full films and all the versions can take up to 16 weeks from the date of your wedding. I can give you a better timescale after your wedding.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO get the wedding film?
Should the unlikely scenario of either of these, the secondary shooter can take over, should there not be one, I also have many other professional wedding videographers as contacts to replace me. I always carry a backup cameras, lenses and other equipment and am well insured against any issues that although unlikely, may arise.
WHAT IF YOU ARE ILL ON THE DAY OR YOUR EQUIPMENT BREAKS?

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Almost anything! They are your films, for you to share as much as you like. This said, I do not allow commercial use (in publications or with the venue/other suppliers) without our prior consent in writing - further details regarding this can be found upon enquiry.
WHAT CAN WE DO WITH THE films?
Gavin Jacob Power | Film is not VAT registered, therefore no VAT is added onto packages.
ARE PRICES INCLUSIVE OF VAT?
To secure your wedding date, I require a booking fee and a signed contract. This is done through my secure wedding client area. I will send you upon request to book my services. Dates are booked on a first come, first serve basis.
HOW DO WE BOOK?
I require a £400 booking fee payed alongside the return of your contract, this secures your date and covers the cost of any pre wedding work. It is non refundable, and will be deducted from the cost of your package.
What is the wedding booking fee?
The key to any high end film is the sound. Where possible I always mic up the speakers. I have many options and ways of making it as discreet as possible, Including the option of hiding it from view in a bridal gown if required. I will go through all of this with you before the wedding.
