What is a wedding photography website without a portfolio, so grab a cuppa and take a look at some of my favourite images over my 8 years a professional wedding photographer based in Bristol but working worldwide.
when asked to describe my work I would say - natural, artistic documentary wedding photography - honest authentic reportage moments with a sprinkling of fun and zany.
Further documentary wedding photos and full wedding previews can be found over on the blog or Instagram.
THE ONLY PORTFOLIO THAT MATTERS IS THE ONE THAT I LEAVE IN PEOPLE’S HEARTS.
Let's Laugh! And Have Fun!
You may hear the word documentary or reportage when looking at a lot of photographers, however it is important that your wedding should be a day that you spend time together with loved ones and not in front of the lens! Unobtrusive photography that documents the real moments of your wedding day is what I strive for - I doubt you'll even notice that I'm around!
Capturing the wedding with this documentary or reportage style, means I can work around you & your day. There is no strict structure and times, like some photographers ask. Many factors can alter throughout the day so this flexibility is key. The documentary wedding photography style, covers your day more thoroughly - It also allows you to relax whilst I do the hard work and capture moments you didn't even know had happened!
I believe that a wedding is a chapter of your life together. Do on your day what makes you both happy and don't worry about the pressures around. Using my knowledge and experience, I will put you all at ease, to me the day flow smoothly and effortlessly whilst documenting moments with beautiful wedding photography & memories to add to your story!
Whatever you are looking for, there is a package for you. The most popular is the full day photography coverage, a day with no restraints, however smaller coverages and options to add on extras are available to create your bespoke wedding photography package.
A wedding is a special event, once in a lifetime, so that is why I offer all day coverage with unlimited hours - I found it allows me to get as much candid images as possible, as well as presenting plenty of opportunities for me to create some magic portraits. Being there form the start of the day really allows me to get to know your guests and blend into the wedding, meaning I can capture a story completely personal to you.
A larger wedding is not for everyone. If you are one of these couples that wants a smaller coverage, or have decided in the current climate to carry on with your wedding, but with smaller numbers, then I offer an a la carte wedding photography package.
Basically you choose the hours of coverage you want, and build you own fabulous wedding photography memories from there!
I lived in the Lake District for 10 years! As a result I have a vast experience of the location. I have been lucky enough to photograph lots of couples in this area, and have taken them to some of the most extravagant places.
The Lake District has caves, slate mines, waterfalls, on top of mountains, or on a jetty lakeside! Whatever it is you want, there is a perfect location and tour for you.
Micro Weddings & Elopements are possibly my ideal! The freedom to explore interesting locations with no restraints. Want an elopement photography adventure? When it comes to elopement photography I like to offer a full day service too, that is part wedding photography, part tour guide! An all day adventure is never as hard as it sounds. Exploring stunning locations whilst capturing unique beautiful photography. Together we will have fun and create magic.
Wherever you decide to elope you can guarantee I will extensively research the location. Using my photography contacts within the wedding industry, location scouting personally and general online resources we can go into your elopement with a full knowledge of excellent photography locations.
From Iceland to the Caribbean - I've been lucky enough to capture some beautiful wedding stories in beautiful far out locations and cultures! All my destination packages include a portrait session and travel and accommodation, so you do not have the worry of thinking about that.
I will research the country and location in depth before, and together we can formulate a plan to get the most exotic and interesting photographs for your destination wedding.
Destination photography, compared to UK wedding photography have a £500 charge built in to the package to cover the cost of flights and accommodation in europe. For more far out locations a pre-discussed surcharge might be added.
A a destination wedding offers me a new culture and backdrop, to compensate the above cost I always include a next day photography portrait shoot free of charge to allow us to explore the area in a greater depth and create unique, outstanding, memorable photographs

As a graduate of film production, 2021 was the year I decided to venture back into creating beautiful wedding video memories.
These cinematic films combine layered sound with artistic film visuals to create a mini cinematic film showcasing the highlights from your day.
The full wedding videography service also includes a full cinematic film, and a full multi camera film of your ceremony and speeches, with full professional video sound.
In a digital world our memories are hidden away in electronic vaults
Memories for future generations
Develop! Print! Share!
This is a fun and relaxed session where you can get used to being in front of the camera and my approach, I can do a pre-wedding shoot anywhere you like - I normally recommend a place that means something to you - otherwise the park, woodland or a beach usually work best for a nice intimate stroll. I prefer shooting outdoors in natural light but I am all ears to any suggestions, just anywhere where you're relaxed and can be you!
WHAT IS A PRE-WEDDING SHOOT AND WHAT HAPPENS?
As a reportage wedding photographer I am there to capture all the natural moments of your wedding day, however I understand that some couples may want a few formal group photographs also. If you want some staged group shots then I love to capture them for you, as I think they are important for future memories.
DO YOU TAKE FORMAL GROUP PHOTOGRAPHS?
Absolutely! I love to travel! Although I am a wedding photographer in Bristol, my photography takes me all over the UK. All travel and accommodation is included. For destination weddings, this is included too, although location dependant a surcharge may be added. This is discussed prior on a wedding to wedding basis.
ARE YOU PREPARED TO TRAVEL NATIONWIDE/WORLDWIDE FOR A WEDDING?
Yes, of course! In fact I feel its really important to meet face to face, in person or via Zoom, to have a chat about your wedding photography in a little more detail. It also gives you a chance to ask me any questions, as well as finalising all the details to make your photographs perfect.
CAN WE MEET BEFORE THE WEDDING DAY?
Of course you can! I am not afraid of a bit of water or mud - that’s what umbrellas and wellies are for! For those who are afraid of the English weather, I also prepare for this and normally have a plan B for indoor locations for photographs.
IF IT’S RAINING ON OUR WEDDING DAY CAN WE STILL GET PICTURES OUTSIDE/WHAT HAPPENS?
You will receive a minimum of 500 wedding photographs (250 micro/elopement wedding packages) fully edited images downloadable from your private gallery.
How Many photos will we receive?
I take great care to edit each photo with sensitivity keeping them looking as natural as possible whilst enhancing and applying my developed style. All wedding photographs are edited using professional software to achieve the highest quality.
How do you edit the photographs?
Post processing of your photographs will take around 8 weeks - this is subject to change in intensely busy periods but I can give a closer estimation nearer the time. Once you have viewed the images and made your selection of favourites it can take up to a further 6-8 weeks for the design and production and postage of any albums.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY Photographs?
Should the unlikely scenario of either of these, the secondary photographer can take over, should there not be one, I also have many other professional wedding photographers as contacts to replace me. I always carry a backup camera and equipment and am well insured against any issues that although unlikely, may arise.
