Simon & Hayley, married at New House Farm – near the shores of Crummock water.
New House Farm is one of those venues that has always been on my list, so I was uber excited when I met Hayley at Enchanted 2015 to hear that this was the venue of their choice!
The day itself was a pleasure, full of many fun & friendly faces and also many a challenge! The constant battle with rain to the challenge of snapping in one of the darkest ceremony venues I’ve come across! But hey ho who doesn’t like something to keep you on your toes! Everyone was in jubilant mood and it was fabulous to see some faces of those I knew. After the ceremony – and a brief moment in which I nearly dropping my camera – we took a short drive to Crummock water, courtesy of Alfie from Cumbria Classic Wedding Cars. I am yet to head to Crummock water without a splattering of rain, but this didn’t deter the newlyweds especially considering one of them was swimming in said lake just hours earlier!
The rest of the day flowed fabulously with a relaxed style – after an afternoon tea and acoustic serenade the couple took to the dance floor to swing their way into married life!
This is just a snippet of the day and their full online gallery will be available by the end of this week! I’d also like to say a special mention again to Ben Priest who assisted me throughout the day! Finally…
…from one cat crazed person to another pair! Many Congratulations! xxx
