A Beautiful Boho Wedding and Blinking Barmy Blaithwaite Beer-a-thon Bonanza
What a rollercoaster of a year it has been, this boho wedding was meant to be the first before restrictions got lifted, alas the date was delayed, however this didn’t hinder the jovial fun. as suppliers we have had a crazy time this year but I always think how hard it must be to plan your dream day 50 million times with every new announcement. Anyways the wedding went ahead, and this sexy duo are now married! Boom Shaka La! Love – 1, Covid – 0!
INTRODUCING THE Beth, Jonny & their wonderful boho wedding at Blaithwaite House
There are moments when you sit there and think shiz! This is going to be a spankingly glorious and wicked wedding to shoot! I remember in the week before having a chat with Beth and Jonny, and thinking “Crumbs they sound like a right flipping hoot!” With all that has gone on you, well I, begin to forget who is who. But the vibe I got I just knew!
After a long drive I rocked up to Blaithwaite House, and starting doing the usual ninja pre shots! Jonny donned his threads and looked like something straight out of a aftershave commercial! Beth rocked the boho wedding look in what I’d say is up there with my ideal style! That dress! Those flowers! I thought it was awesome. Then together they rocked their wedding vows as they said I do on the terrace out Blaithwaite house!
A few stray cocktail sausages (courtesy of Bespoke Catering Cumbria) and a multitude of Prosecco and beer, it was speeches time! thought out the whole day It had a beautiful but sometimes strange feeling to it. Strange because for so long we have almost forgot how to hug and love! It was emotional to bring back that said emotion again! I loved it! I love speeches! And I loved seeing these two get wed!
Then for some fun portrait wedding photographs around Blaithwaite
I often say that during my portrait shoots, my couples will love, laugh and what me make a right tit of myself! I aim to create a natural feel but also create an experience that brides, grooms and all can look back on with fondness. Beth + Jonny did the usual “we aren’t photogenic” speech. Well you can judge but I thought they nailed it! After a wander around the rose garden we headed down to the summer house for giggles, freelensing, a strip and redress and to capture some glorious photographs as the sun dropped! flare galore. They killed it and look flipping awesome!
We then headed back for the evening where the band played. drinks flowed and some “dancing” ensued. Its a shame we couldn’t pack a dance floor but that unfortunately is how current times are! I look forward to getting bumped and bruised from flaming elbows as I flash away (camera of course) at future weddings!
I’ll just end by saying I love this duo, their entourage, and everything about this boho wedding! Congrats! x
