Jason + Tania married, then partied the night away at the truly fabulous Abbey House Hotel. Abbey House is a wedding venue I now hold dear to my heart. To be asked to be one of their recommended wedding suppliers is a true honour. A mini photography dream.

These two are flipping excellent. It is clear to see the love between them both. They have that little bit of a crazy playful nature that makes you want to be around them for a giggle! A wedding photographers dream. This was definitely a wedding I was looking forward to and it did not disappoint.
Abbey house is a majestic wedding venue. I got to work alongside my friend and fabulous make up artist Aimee Chorley. Who made the bride look a million dollars as the autumnal light streamed through the window. Autumn you are one heck of a wedding photographers friend!
Abbey House is pure amazing. The ground are off the scale. Your wedding photos will be remarkable. The staff and service provided was some of the best I have experienced. The day itself was simply incredible! It was a wedding full of raw emotions, love, laughter and lots of tears of joy. There were even two voyeurs who joined in via the iPad as they sadly couldn’t make the day. I’m pretty sure if I asked J +T to abseil down from the roof they would have done it.It’s just the kind of characters they are.
Wedding photography is about capturing that raw emotion with a whole load of fun
As a photographer, to see the emotion between the wedding couple is unrivalled so on a wedding as glorious as this, it was so evident to see! That love towards one another, but also of that of a parent. A true dedication to the cause the newlyweds even took a moment from the day to completely embarrass their children during the speeches! classic parents!
There is no doubt now they are probably enjoying newly married life. Zooming around the Lancashire streets. Shouting “we’re married” in Jays newly private plated car. Likely heckling their children further before grabbing a glass of champagne and sitting in the hot tub. It’s a hard life.
What a hoot! Even if the rental car did get stuck in the mud. What is a wedding without a bit of mud drama. The only question left on my mind is if that Rubix Cube ever got completed..

“When we decided to get married our list of things that we wanted was very short. It was simple intimate day at Abbey House Hotel that made us feel special. Fast forward 18 months and we actually managed to nail our wedding wishes well and truly on the head.
It was an absolute blast, surrounded by those we love. Initially we thought it would be OK to capture our wedding day memories via our guests cameras and phones. But after some consideration we decided to hire a professional photographer. We are sooooooooo glad we invited Gavin to be our wedding photographer.
It was totally the right decision. His photos are stunning. They not only bring back memories of our fabulous wedding day but they capture the emotion and the essence of our celebration. They are a visual delight. It was a complete pleasure having Gavin at our wedding. Our guests and other wedding suppliers were also extremely complimentary about him, which was lovely to hear (this totally reinforced our decision).
Being able to be instantly transported back to our fabulous wedding day brings us untold joy. It was a glorious day made all the better because it can be retold many many times courtesy of the lens of a really nice bloke. A wee dedication and a bizarre moment of madness….
Sadly on the morning on the wedding – news came through of the passing of molly. A childhood woofie. The sadness rapidly turned to happiness when some newly acquired friends J+T tied the knot!
