“….oh my little stinks, you were very persistent! And you soon moved in my little flat, you talked me into buying a little cat, oh Lola (seriously) we really love you, well one cat soon become a few, when we picked up Rita and Yoko too, oh our little girls we really love you! We soon needed a bigger home, I didn’t realise how much shit you owned! Oh my little stinks…”  // Mark Rothery //

Mark+ Tara married, then partied the night away at the my second home, the beautiful Blaithwaite House

Holy ticklepips!!! That moment a wedding is so good you are forced to invent a new word! I donned my mustard shirt and cat bowtie (a combination so good I think Squish + Tinks may be due for a hair dye!) in honour of these zany two, as they are also cat mad like me! The brought an entourage of beautiful bridesmaids and handsome groomsmen, a truly loving set of parents, many a jovial guest and the suavest gramps around – you couldn’t have asked for a better clan to celebrate your day with. You know its going to be a fun day when you arrive at 10am and the first four people you speak to offer you a glass of champagne!

The day itself was styled to intricate perfection, not a detail out of place and once again the sun was in full glory. Watching Mark shake in nervous anticipation/excitement then shed a tear as Tara walked down for me is what makes me love doing what I do!

The day was rife with emotion and a whole lotta fun. The speeches were so on point! The may have lasted for the full length of the ongoing England match, intentionally clever I think, yet each one was so poignant and full beautiful moments. The to top it off Mark, who is a flipping fabulous singer, whips out his guitar and starts talking about his little stinks – ironically that is my nickname one of my furballs! That song though, wow! Even had me welling up, but I pretty much cry every wedding so meh!!

As the speeches finished, the bouquet was thrown straight into the hands of sister Brooke (Fix?!?!) to create the most heartwarming moment between the two! Then the most glorious light shone across the venue just in time to capture some of my couple portraiture! Everything was so perfect for it, and the fields glistened the most beautiful yellow. The party started with a rendition of “it’s coming home” (which in hindsight was pure lies) as the arms flailed, shoulders were sat on, drinks split and just generally utter madness ensued! It was a party and a half!Amazing!

So much love for everyone who was there, you were all totes cool and so much hotness in the room! Boom! Great to catch up with one of my fave past couples (Chris+San) again too!

Congrats! Love GJP! X

…and with that I’d like to end by wishing my congratulations once again to the fabulous two!
