A cinematic wedding film in the intimate Minster Mill wedding venue.
My love for wedding films is growing everyday. If you have followed my story you will know that I recently ventured back into wedding videography from photography after my relocation down south. I have been lucky enough to film seven weddings this year, each wedding films more emotional than the last. In terms of venues, a Minster mill wedding is up there with the great wedding venues of the year! What a day this was and I’d like to send a special thanks to Paul ( In Love Films ) who came along to assist me with the filming of the day.
INTRODUCING Bethan, Matthew & the incredible Minster Mill wedding venue
Rewind to February, whilst creating a wedding film I saw Bethan and Matthew throwing the coolest shapes on the dance floor. Bethan was bridesmaid to my then bride, Josie. Since that moment and once they enquired I knew this wedding was going to be one of epic proportions! Minster Mill is a beautiful and rustic wedding venue in the Cotswolds. It has a truly intimate feel and must be up their with the best wedding venues I have had the pleasure of visiting.
And now lets talk their wedding day
That moment when you stroll into a room of a bride and her entourage of 9 incredible bridesmaids! I was greeted upon arrival by friendly and familiar faces, a coffee and a very excited Bethan. Paul was down the opposite end of the venue looking after Matthew and his chaps! Jane from Cotswolds Weddings, was rocking full ninja pro photographer – It is always a pleasure to work with such legends, whilst Bethan went from glorious to knockout! She looked so beautiful, tears were shed by the numerous bridesmaids and a smile beamed across the face of dad, as he walked her from Minister Hall on route to church. Awaiting was Matthew, rocking 100 % dapper.
The ceremony took place at St John’s The Baptist, Burford. As Matthew squeezed Bethan’s hand, smiles emanated and a kiss sealed what was altogether a beautiful ceremony. The walked out of the church to a rupture of applause and a face full of confetti. Before venturing back to Minster Mill for a reception to behold.
What a wedding party in the heart of the Cotswolds
Before they made it to their wedding reception at Minster Mill, we first swung by Minster Lovell Hall, to take a stroll around the deltic remains of this dramatic place. It was portage photography and videographer gold! Back at the Mill, champers was flowing and the room was getting laid for the soon to be delightful wedding feast, and of course the wedding speeches.
As a wedding videographer the speeches are more often than not what levels up a wedding film. It might have been tight in there, ha, but I love a challenge and Matthew certainly helped me out by producing a top level speech! Pure emotion, laughter, love, and countless tales of balcony adventures! Post speech the bridesmaids started throwing shapes and the grooms men just simple threw Matthew!
And then with a swift cakes cut the end of the night drew in to a dance floor full of flailing arms, spins, and a master puppeteer. It was such a beautiful adventure to shoot the cotswold wedding at Minster Mill
I’ll just end by saying these two a super cool, their entourage was vast but also incredible , and generally this wedding was an all round pleasure to film! Congrats! x
