A Beautiful combined Wedding photograph and film package in the Brecon Beacons.

This was only my second wedding local to the Bristol area, but heavens what a way to start. It was literally 6 weeks before the wedding when Rebecca and Tom found me through googling, and opted for the combined Wedding photography and film package. with that I’d like to send a special thanks to Paul ( In Love Films ) who came along to assist me with the filming of the day – Also massive shout out to Ryan Shenton who came along to take some photographs with me.

INTRODUCING Rebecca, Tom & the incredible Tall Johns House

When I first spoke to R+T I could tell they would be a joy. I have literally never met a man more smilie than Tom! After a swift drive from Bristol to the Brecon Beacons (Tall Johns House), through terrain that reminded me of my time in the Lake District. I arrived at Tall Johns House as they were setting up for the day. R+ T actually got officially got married in the week leading up to this day. This is always a great way to have a more personalised ceremony. In this case a great friend took the service!

The girls were surprising relaxed, choosing the song to walk down the aisle to and a silly photographer(me) knocked a Prosecco glass onto the floor. Meanwhile the chaps play pool and chess downstairs. Literally the calmest of mornings was had.

As the time went by, hats flew off in the brisk wind as a beautiful Rebecca walked down the aisle, mum and dad in arm towards the king of smiles! A well spoken service later Rebecca and tom were married for the second time this year.

Lets talk about that wedding speech!

The whole day flowed with an air of calmness and relaxation. The chaps legged it to the discarded tractor at the earliest convenience, whilst the ladies launched their bouquets directly at me. T+R ran through fields before, arms aloft, entered the room for their wedding breakfast.

I hear a lot of speeches in the year of being a wedding photographer and videographer! For wedding films it really helps when you can get sound bites from awesome speeches. Tom absolutely killed it, however a room full of people (all that watch this film) can no witness the pickle he got himself into when talking about Mount Everest! It wasn’t just Tom that was on form. A personable speech from Rebeccas father followed by the comical delights from the best men, mad for a raucous room of love and laughter.

Lets talk the evening and the wedding venue Tall johns house

The night ended with champagne hitting the lens followed by arms failing on the dancefloor. The rain beat down in the evening but the day as a whole was glorious. I literally couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick start my 2022 wedding season. It was a great day and my first of hopefully many more adventures to Tall Johns House.

Tall Johns House is a wedding venue in the Brecon Beacons, It is a secluded getaway amongst the vast hills. If you are looking for a barn venue, which will ultimately host the most relaxing and personable day. I can think of many places I have bene to that are better. You should definitely get this wedding venue on your list.

I’ll just end by saying I love this duo, their entourage, and everything about this incredible wedding! Congrats! x
